Dear Colleagues,

As you are beginning to review drafts of your students' research papers and projects, please encourage undergraduate students with strong research projects to apply for the Charlene Conrad Liebau Library Prize for Undergraduate Research. The application period is open now and closes April 12, 2018. Application instructions and more details are at http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/researchprize. We especially encourage submissions from lower division students, whose projects are judged separately from those of upper division students. More details are available on the website.

Eligible applicants must be Berkeley undergraduates at any class level. They may come from any discipline.

You can also encourage students from previous semesters to apply. They must have completed their research projects for a course at UCB in one of the following terms:

  • Lower division: Spring 2017, Summer 2017, Fall 2017, Spring 2018
  • Upper division: Summer 2017, Fall 2017, Spring 2018

And don't forget your statement of support, which is essential in helping the judges.

Thank you for helping us find and celebrate the best undergraduate research on campus.

Best,

Jennifer Dorner
