VCUE Staff Summit

Staff from the Division of Undergraduate Education (VCUE) are invited to the VCUE Staff Summit taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Memorial Stadium University Club. 

The Summit is an opportunity to engage in critical conversations, networking, and collaboration with VCUE staff and leadership. The Summit supports the VCUE’s goal of an inclusive, equitable environment in which all staff are supported in their work and their professional growth.

Program

A detailed program will be shared prior to the Staff Summit. The program will include:

  • Remarks from Vice Chancellor Cathy Koshland on the state of the Division, VCUE’s role in the campus strategic plan, and Division goals for equity and inclusion
  • Interactive panels, discussions, and group activities around staff professional development and advancement
  • Networking and relationship-building with colleagues across the Division

Parking

The nearest visitor parking to Memorial Stadium is the Stadium Parking Garage, a privately-managed lot that charges an hourly rate. Campus permit holders should visit the Parking & Transportation website to view a list of nearby campus lots.

Meals

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Registration

Deadline to register is Friday, September 7. An announcement and link to the registration form will be sent to VCUE staff in early August.

Location

The Staff Summit will take place in the University Club located inside Memorial Stadium. To access the University Club:

  1. Enter the stadium through Gate 2 (on Piedmont Avenue directly across from Haas School of Business)
  2. Proceed up the stairs/ramp to the plaza level.
  3. Enter the stadium near the sign marked “Berkeley Executive Education”
  4. Take the elevator to the University Club (8th floor)
