The Vice Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council on Undergraduate Education (SACUE) provides a unique opportunity for motivated undergraduates to provide confidential advice to the Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education and other senior campus administrators on matters concerning the campus’s undergraduate academic life and student experience. SACUE members help influence decisions that directly impact the quality of undergraduate education at UC Berkeley. 


Qualifications:

  • able  to attend a regularly-scheduled 90-minute monthly meeting;

  • have an interest in the campus academic life and a passion for improving the undergraduate experience at UC Berkeley;

  • comfortable engaging with a variety of opinions in a diverse group setting;

  • able to respect the confidentiality of the Council and to offer thoughtful advice on sensitive topics.

We are recruiting representatives from all areas of the undergraduate community:

  • Upper and lower division cohorts
  • All undergraduate colleges (and clusters)
  • A broad spectrum of majors--both intended and declared--and experiences
  • Communities across campus (clubs, groups, coops, teams, etc)
